The Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) has offered IFRS training of trainers in Adama for 70 Micro-finance institution accountants who are selected from various regions of the country.The training was aimed at producing professionals who will be a trainer of trainers on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Having more skilled professionals in the accountancy will accelerate the implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards. The training was undertaken from July 31 to August 8, 2017. The participants are expected to train other professionals when they return to their respective regions.Since its establishment, AABE has been providing similar trainings and workshops to create awareness on the implementations of International Financial Reporting standards.
